This marks the first post of many, on our journey of 3 friends cycling the California coast from Crescent City to San Francisco. This blog will help those who would like to embark on a trip like this, but more importantly for our major support network of friends and family!

Jason, LP and I will each have one MEC Air Hike 22 Backpack filled with the following:
1 cycling bib/shorts
1 cycling jersey
1 pair of socks
1 pair of shorts
1 pair of speedos/swimwear (the hotel hot tubs will be your best friend!)
1 T-shirt
1 pair of vibrams
1 toothbrush
1 travel deodorant
1 travel toothpaste
1 pair of sunglasses
1 Helmet
1 IPod Nano
1 IPad
Lots of Snickers for fuel
This will continually be updated, for I am sure I have missed something in my dash to get this blog started.
If all goes well, you will see an update each night with pictures throughout the day marking our route.
